IT Auditor. A utilities firm are looking for an IT Auditor to join the team. The IT Auditor will be responsible for the planning and execution of various audits in line with the company’s audit programme. The IT Auditor will have primary areas of focus around cyber security, resilience and organisational development and change. The IT Auditor will need the ability to articulate technical issues with both technical and non technical audience. The IT Auditor will act as a trusted partner to the operational teams and will contribute to identifying the need for operational changes that improve business performance, resilience and ensure regulatory compliance. The IT Auditor will also support the development of junior audit staff.
The IT Auditor will need a degree with IT focus. The IT Auditor will need either CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner) of course if you needed those explanations you might be on the wrong advert! The IT Auditor will need to demonstrate up to date knowledge of cyber threats and countermeasures. The IT Auditor will need strong communication, planning, analytical skills, negotiation, stakeholder skills and so on. The IT Auditor will need significant IT audit experience.
The IT Auditor salary is £48-63k plus excellent benefits
